How will my Ticket work?
Our tickets will be e-ticket or print-at-home tickets that you can bring with you on your phone or print out, which our Front of House team will be able to scan.
We ask that you have these ready for our staff to scan when you enter the building.
This will allow you to enter our venue more easily, minimise the amount of time you may have to queue, and reduce contact with the front of house team.
We have free wi-fi at the theatre so you will be able to access your tickets if you have these one your phone.
Getting to the Theatre?
Be sure to set aside more than enough time for your journey to the venue; if possible, walk or cycle at least part of the way. Please check your route if travelling by public transport as this may have recently changed.
What Time should I Arrive?
If you are coming for a show, we will open our foyer and theatre bar 1 hour before the start time, with the auditorium open 30 minutes before. To avoid lots of queues we may fill the auditorium by seat rows to ensure everyone is safe.
If you are coming to the theatre for one of our classes or a meeting, we would ask that you arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start time so that we can ensure safe egress from the building for all scheduled meetings.
What should I Bring?
Please keep your belongings to a minimum and with you at all times.
Do I need to wear a face covering?
We strongly recommend that you continue to wear face coverings out of respect for fellow audience members and our companies when coming into our theatres and especially when moving around the theatre.
Our staff will continue to wear face masks or visors (unless exempt) when not behind screens as they move around the theatre.
If you are exempt from wearing a face covering it would help our front of house staff and fellow audience members if you wear an exemption lanyard, badge or show a card.
Do I need to proof of Vaccination or a Covid Test?
As per recent government guidelines the Covid Passport is not compulsory at this time and we will not be enforcing this at the theatre.
However, we would also ask that you take a lateral flow test before you come to the theatre, we will not ask for proof of this but we will ask anyone showing signs of symptoms of Covid-19 to not enter the building in line with government guidance.
What should I expect at the theatre?
Hand sanitising stations will be in place at all entrances and around the building and we ask that these are used on entry to the building.
The theatre will be open at full capacity so you will be sitting next to other people. We ask you to maintain a safe social distance where possible when queuing to take your seats and moving around the theatre.
You may need to pass someone to take your seat in a row – to mitigate risk we recommend wearing your face covering while moving around the theatre.
The NHS Test and Trace QR venue sign-in will be in place for those that would like to use this.
There may be one way systems in place at certain points in the theatre and we would ask you to follow these whilst in the building. We may also ask you to queue to avoid overcrowding at certain pinch points and we hope that you will understand this is for the safety of all.
What else is the theatre doing?
The theatre has had a brand new Fresh Air ventilation system installed in the Main House and both of our first floor studios, which will be on at all times the theatre is in use. Our theatre bar and foyer will have open windows and doors to ensure fresh air circulates around these busy areas.
We also have virus detectors that will be installed that clear the air and detect any viruses and these will be moved around the building to busy areas.
We will have enhanced cleaning and regularly disinfecting. Some routes may have changed in order to minimise your contact with others, so the helpful staff at the theatre will guide you.
Please use the hand sanitiser stations when you enter and exit the theatre.
Screens will be in place at our Box Office and Theatre Bar to ensure safety for all.
Following the performance, we ask that you exit the building promptly to avoid over crowding in our foyer. Stage Door activities such as photographs with the performers or autograph signing may be restricted.
Will I be able to buy refreshments?
Pre-Ordering interval drinks and Ice-Creams will be possible at the theatre.
We would ask that transactions at our Theatre bar are cashless and paperless as much as possible, and there may be one way systems in place.
What happens if I have Covid and can’t use my ticket or the performance is cancelled?
We will be ensuring that you have maximum flexibility by allowing tickets to be exchanged up to 24 hours prior to the performance. If this is not possible due to a ‘one night’ show then we will refund your ticket with 24 hours notice.
If you can not give us 24 hours notice, then please do contact the theatre and we will try and re-sell your ticket on your behalf and then refund this to you if possible.
If someone in your party is confirmed as Covid positive or has symptoms, please contact the theatre as soon as possible.
If the performance is cancelled due to not being to go ahead due to Covid or another national lockdown, we will contact you as soon as possible and attempt to postpone the performance to a new date. If this is not possible then a full refund will be given.
