Happy Days

Happy Days Are Here Again

We are all in need of lifting our spirits, having a good old sing song and a really good laugh. If that sounds like a good idea, then this is the show for you!

On the 8th May 1945, millions of people took to the streets to celebrate peace and to look forward to a brighter future. This show brings you the songs heard at those parties, songs that won the war, good old fashioned sing-a-longs and beautiful ballads.
You can ‘Meet The Gang’ as we take you back to the ENSA concert party days, with songs and fun from Arthur Askey, Gracie Fields and Flanagan and Allen to name a few.
A tribute to the late Dame Vera Lynn, with songs including, When the Lights Go on Again, The White Cliffs of Dover and We’ll Meet Again.
A good old fashioned knees up where you can sing-a-long to ‘Roll Out the Barrel’, ‘Side by Side’, ‘Knees Up Mother Brown’ and ‘Lambeth Walk’, amongst others. You will be taken back to the sounds of the Andrew Sisters and Glen Miller in our American section with our fabulous dancers tapping and jiving!
We will pay a respectful tribute to our Fallen Heroes, honouring all our Armed Forces and creating poignant, but beautiful scenes using our state of the art projection screen. Recreating the atmosphere of the Last Night of the Proms, plenty of flag waving of course and all the words will be on the screen, so you will be actively encouraged to join in with songs including ‘Land of Hope and Glory’, ‘Rule Britannia’ and ‘There’ll Always Be An England’.
The show is performed by seven Award Winning vocalists with incredible voices and amazing harmonies, and talented dancers with beautiful bespoke costumes. With our fabulous comedian leading proceedings and lifting your spirits, this feelgood show is guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face.
